Stylish, budget-friendly animal print pieces from Temu: a smooth PU-leather look belt and a gorgeous bucket bag rescued with a replacement chain strap. Honest pros & cons.
I picked up a few animal-print pieces from Temu and overall I’m impressed for the price. The belt is a standout: the printed side is super smooth and looks high-quality, while the reverse feels like PU leather — not real leather, but perfectly fine given the low cost. It adds an instant stylish touch to outfits without a big investment.
The small bucket-style bag is beautiful and a great example of how small pops of animal print elevate a look. Sadly the original shoulder strap is a let-down — thin construction and gold-colored plastic hardware make the bag feel cheaper than it looks. Swapping the strap for a sturdy chain (I used a Ferial Rose bag chain) completely transformed it into one of my favorite bags.
Pros:
- Very affordable, stylish pieces
- Belt looks and feels polished for the price
- Bucket bag shape and print are attractive and versatile
- Easy, inexpensive fix (replace strap) yields great results
Cons:
- Likely PU leather, not genuine leather
- Original bag strap and hardware are poor quality
Verdict:
If you like animal print but don’t want to splurge, these Temu finds are worth it—buy the belt and the bag, but plan to replace the strap for longevity and a more luxe look.

Unfortunately the animal print bag is currently out of stock on the website, but they do have some really nice bags, similar to this one I show here, and....the quality of the strap looks better as well.
