A quick trip to Walmart with my husband turned into one of those unexpectedly great fashion finds moments. From fitted tanks that hug in all the right places to high-waisted wide-leg jeans that are genuinely everything — here is my full, honest review of this affordable and flattering little haul.
A Quick Trip That Turned Into a Great Find
My husband and I made a quick trip to Walmart, and as often happens when I walk through the clothing section, I ended up finding a few pieces that I absolutely love. Sometimes the best finds happen when you are not even really looking!
The Tank Tops — Two Very Different Experiences
I picked up a couple of different tank top styles on this trip, and they are worth talking about separately because they are genuinely quite different from each other.
The Basic Cotton Tanks
First, I grabbed a few basic cotton tanks:
Nice and breathable — perfect for summer days
Comfortable and easy to wear
Not necessarily my favourites from a style perspective
More of an everyday casual basic than a standout piece
The Fitted Tanks — The Real Winners
The fitted tanks, however, are a completely different story and honestly stole the show:

The fabric feels noticeably better and more elevated than a basic tank

Now let us talk about the real star of this haul — the jeans. These high-waisted, wide-leg jeans are absolutely everything, and this silhouette is hands down one of my all-time favourites for a very good reason:
