May Monthly Favourites 2026 | My Top 10 Loves of the Month

Welcome to my very first Monthly Favourites post!

At the end of every month, I'll be sharing the products, accessories, fashion finds, beauty favourites, and little surprises that I absolutely loved throughout the month. Some of these items are long-time staples, while others are brand-new discoveries that completely won me over.

I'm so excited to start this monthly series and bring you along as I share the things that made my favourites list each month. You never know what might make an appearance—from handbags and watches to beauty products, styling pieces, tech gadgets, and everything in between.

Number 10: Magnetic Fidget Toy

Starting off the list is something that completely surprised me—a magnetic fidget toy from Temu.

I purchased it without really knowing much about magnetic fidgets. My husband enjoys spinner toys, so I was curious to see what the magnetic version was all about.

May turned out to be a particularly stressful month. Between losing both my TikTok and YouTube accounts, having to backtrack on my website project, and dealing with a failing storage disk that I'm still trying to recover files from, there were definitely moments that felt overwhelming.

This little magnetic fidget toy became my unexpected companion through it all. It helped keep my hands busy, my mind focused, and provided a surprisingly calming distraction during stressful situations.

Number 9: Glysomed Hand-Cream

This product has been around for as long as I can remember.

I remember my grandmother always having Glysomed in the little round tin, although I'm much happier that it now comes in a tube!

While the scent isn't my absolute favourite—it has a herbal fragrance that isn't bad, just not my personal preference—the formula itself is incredible.

This is hands-down one of the best hand creams for dry hands and helping prevent hangnails, especially during colder months. It remains my go-to hand cream year after year and always earns a spot in my collection.

Number 8: Essie Nail Polish – 490 Not Red-y For Bed

If you've watched my content this month, you've probably noticed this red nail polish appearing again and again.

This shade is perfection for my skin tone. It's not too dark, not too bright, and sits perfectly in that sweet spot between classic and bold.

I've always loved Essie nail polishes, but shade 490 "Not Red-y For Bed" quickly became my signature colour throughout May.

It came from Amazon, and I honestly wore it almost every day this month.

Number 7: Revlon Lipstick + Rimmel Lip Liner Combo

This one may have been the biggest surprise of the entire month.

I was checking out on Amazon when the site suggested adding a Revlon lipstick to my order. On a whim, I added it to my cart.

During my Amazon Lipstick Haul unboxing, I opened the tube and immediately thought:

"No. No. No. This colour is definitely getting stored away and never used."

The coral shade looked shocking in the bullet.

Then I swatched it.

Then I tried it on.

And from the very first swipe, I completely fell in love.

Sometimes the biggest surprises turn into the best discoveries.

I've worn this lipstick nearly every day this month and paired it with my holy grail lip liner from Rimmel in shade 705 Cappuccino.

Together, they create the most beautiful lip combination.

Number 6: DJI Mini Mic

This was one of the best investments I've made recently.

If you're a content creator looking for recording equipment, I cannot say enough good things about the DJI Mini Mic.

It's compact, incredibly easy to use, and delivers fantastic audio quality.

One of my favourite features is its versatility—it works beautifully with my iPhone and can also be used with cameras.

The sound quality has been amazing, and it has quickly become an essential part of my content creation setup.

Number 5: Designer-Inspired Sunglasses

No ensemble is ever complete without a pair of sunglasses.

These designer-inspired sunglasses from DHGate completely stole my heart this month.

I love the fit, the style, the shape, and how effortlessly they elevate any outfit.

They're affordable, stylish, and incredibly wearable.

The only downside for my fellow curly-haired girls is that the nose pads can sometimes catch your hair if you wear them on top of your head.

But honestly?

I love them enough to overlook that little inconvenience.

Number 4: Glitter Sneakers

If there's glitter involved, there's a very good chance I'm going to love it.

These glitter sneakers from Amazon were an instant favourite.

I own them in multiple colours, and I can confidently say they are some of the most fun sneakers I own.

They're comfortable, eye-catching, and add the perfect amount of sparkle to any outfit.

Honestly, these may end up appearing in every Monthly Favourites post for the rest of my life!

Number 3: My Signature Scent Combination

If you've ever wondered what I smell like most of the time, this is it.

The first layer is LUSH's Let The Good Times Roll.

To me, it's a delicious blend of sweet caramel with a soft buttery warmth that makes it absolutely addictive.

Layered over top is my all-time favourite fragrance: Oakcha's That Girl – Viral Vanilla, created in collaboration with Paul Reacts.

This perfume has completely captured my heart.

Together, these two fragrances create my signature scent.

Sweet, warm, comforting, and absolutely irresistible.

I simply cannot get enough of them.

Number 2: My Favourite Handbag & Wallet Combination

Choosing a favourite bag is nearly impossible for me because I genuinely love them all.

But if I had to pick the one I reached for most throughout May, it would be this beautiful lambskin leather handbag from BabalaBag.

The soft leather, versatile size, top handle, shoulder strap, and crossbody options make it incredibly functional.

What really stands out, though, is the stunning gunmetal plate beneath the top handle. It's such a unique design feature and gives the bag a collector's-piece feel.

It's absolutely beautiful.

Because choosing just one favourite bag-related item felt impossible, I'm also including my favourite wallet.

This soft black lambskin wallet from DHGate accompanied me every single day this month.

What's surprising is that I usually prefer smaller wallets, but this one completely won me over.

Beautiful, practical, affordable, and impossible not to love.

Number 1: My Fossil Watch

We've officially reached my number one favourite for May.

This Fossil watch was gifted to me for Christmas by a very special friend.

She knows me incredibly well and understands that my heart truly beats to the tick of a watch.

I've never met a watch I didn't love, but this one is different.

The two-tone silver and gold bracelet means it pairs effortlessly with absolutely everything.

The white motif dial and smooth gold bezel create a timeless and elegant look.

But what makes this watch truly priceless to me is the engraving on the back.

My friend had my name beautifully engraved onto it, turning an already beautiful watch into one of the most meaningful pieces in my entire collection.

For that reason alone, it easily takes the number one spot this month.
