When I was given the opportunity to collaborate with Olay and test their Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream for 28 days, I was genuinely excited. Olay actually holds a sentimental place in my heart because years ago it was my absolute holy grail skincare brand. So trying this product felt a little like reconnecting with an old favourite — and honestly, I’m so glad I did.
I always want to be completely honest when sharing my skincare experiences, and in all honesty, this cream is very, very beautiful.
The first thing I noticed was the scent. It has a soft, fresh fragrance that feels luxurious without being overpowering. Some skincare products can be way too strong, but this one strikes a really nice balance.
The texture is another thing I truly enjoyed. The cream has such a lovely glide or slip to it on the skin, making application feel smooth and effortless. It absorbs surprisingly quickly too, which is a huge plus because nobody wants to spend forever rubbing in moisturizer.
Over the 28 days, I genuinely noticed some subtle improvements in my skin. My skin looked more luminous, felt smoother, and the texture appeared more refined overall. I do believe that to see dramatic changes, I would need to continue using the cream for at least 3–6 months to really allow the ingredients time to work fully, but for only 28 days, I was honestly impressed with the results I did see.
The Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream is formulated with Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) and Amino-Peptides, which help hydrate the skin, improve elasticity, and target those pesky fine lines — and honestly, who wouldn’t want that?
Another bonus for me was the added SPF 30 broad spectrum sun protection. I personally wish the SPF level was a little higher, but having built-in sun protection is still such a great feature and definitely better than none at all.
Throughout my 28-day trial, I kept my skincare routine fairly simple to give the product a fair chance. In the mornings, I would cleanse my skin, apply the Olay cream, and then go in with my makeup for the day.
In the evenings, I removed my makeup using coconut oil — something I’ve used for years because it melts makeup off so well — then cleansed with warm water before applying the Olay cream.
Moving forward, I do think I’ll continue incorporating some of my other skincare products back into my routine while keeping this cream as part of my daily morning and night skincare steps.
What made this experience even more special for me is the nostalgia attached to Olay. Many years ago, Olay products were staples in my skincare routine. I still remember the soft pink square bottle with the black cap that I absolutely loved. Being able to revisit the brand again brought back so many good memories and honestly felt like finding my way back to something familiar and comforting.
