Today’s OOTD was one of those looks that reminded me just how much I love pulling together an outfit on a budget and still feeling completely put together. Everything about this style felt easy, comfortable, chic, and wearable, but still had enough little details to make it feel special. And of course, I had to add one fun pop of colour because you all know I can never resist a good statement bag.

I started today’s look with these black trousers that have lace detailing running up the side of each leg, and honestly, I just love them. They have an elastic waistband and elastic cuffs at the bottom, so they are incredibly comfortable, but they still have that elegant, dressed-up feel. Best of all, I found them at a local thrift store, which makes me love them even more. There is just something so satisfying about finding a piece that looks stylish, feels good, and comes with a budget-friendly price tag.

For shoes, I went with my black glitter sneakers from Amazon, and if you’ve been around here for a while, you probably already know how much I love these sneakers. I actually bought them in black, gold, and red because they are that good. They are easily some of the most comfortable shoes I own, and once you find something you love that much, it’s hard to convince yourself to wear anything else.

On top, I added this black light sheer blouse that I recently picked up from Temu. It has such a pretty, elegant feel to it, but because it’s slightly cropped, it also gives the outfit a younger, more playful look. Underneath, I wore a black body shaper tank from Amazon, which worked perfectly as a base layer and kept everything feeling smooth and comfortable.

I was recently asked if I could start sharing more of the “underneath” pieces I wear with my outfits too — things like bras, shapewear, and the basics that help make the outfit work — so I’m going to try my best to start including that more often. For today’s look, I wore a black body shaper tank from Amazon, a black bra from Comfelie (which has become one of my absolute favourites because I honestly have not found another one that compares), and a pair of thongs from Temu.

To accessorize, I added this chain-style belt with black leather woven through it, and I just thought it looked so good with the trousers. It gives that stylish designer-inspired feel without the designer price tag, and it helped pull the whole outfit together while adding a bit of edge. This one is from Temu as well, and for the price, I think it looks fantastic.

To tie in with the belt, I wore a matching chain-style necklace with a little drop heart pendant. It actually comes as a two-piece set, but today I decided to keep it simple and wear just one necklace. Sometimes just one piece is all you need, especially when the rest of the outfit already has enough detail happening.

Of course, my bangles made an appearance because they are pretty much a part of me at this point. Those came from a private seller named Pink. I also wore my Ultrahuman Ring AIR, which is my health and fitness tracker, and stacked it with my silver zipper-style ring from Temu. I have to say, I absolutely adore that zipper ring. It’s one of those fun little pieces that just makes me smile every time I wear it.

On my other arm, I added my watch with the two-toned jubilee band, black dial, diamond batons, and that sparkly fluted bezel that I love so much. It’s such a beautiful watch and instantly makes any outfit feel a little more polished. That one came from DHGate. On the same hand, I wore a large gold diamond ring from Temu for a little extra sparkle because, let’s be honest, I’m never mad at a bit of shine.

Now let’s talk about my favourite part of today’s outfit — the bag. This little kiss-lock clutch in the most gorgeous green suede absolutely stole the show for me. Since the rest of the outfit was black, it was the perfect piece to break everything up and add that intentional pop of colour. I always love when one accessory can completely change the feel of an outfit, and this bag did exactly that. It made the whole look feel more fun, more styled, and just a little extra special. And yes, this beauty came from Temu too.

To finish it all off, I added my gold-framed sunnies with grey lenses from DHGate, and that was the final touch. They gave the outfit that little bit of glam and pulled everything together so nicely.

Overall, I really loved how this outfit came together. It felt chic, comfortable, stylish, and easy to wear, which is exactly the kind of fashion I love most. And the fact that it was all done on a budget just makes it even better. I truly believe that style has nothing to do with spending a fortune and everything to do with how you put things together and how you wear them.

Always remember — being on a budget doesn’t limit your style… only your mind does.
