While corduroy is usually reserved for fall and winter wardrobes, Mother Nature seems to have missed the memo that it's June. With cloudy skies, rain, and temperatures hovering around 10°C but feeling closer to 4°C, summer appears to have taken an extended vacation. So instead of shorts and tank tops, I reached for cozy layers and comforting textures that felt just right for the weather.
The foundation of today's outfit was a pair of warm and cozy brown corduroy pants from Temu. These high-waisted, wide-leg trousers are incredibly comfortable and were exactly what this chilly day called for. The rich brown shade feels earthy and timeless, making them easy to style with a variety of tops.
To brighten things up a little, I added my Gold Glitter Sneakers from Amazon. A touch of sparkle on the feet always makes me smile, and these sneakers bring just the right amount of fun and personality to the outfit.
For the top, I chose a beautiful ivory embroidered blouse from Winners. The delicate embroidery paired beautifully with the texture of the corduroy pants, creating that texture-on-texture combination that inspired today's look. The soft ivory shade also complemented the warm brown tones perfectly.
Adding a touch of elegance was a short, chunky pearl necklace from Temu. Pearls have a way of instantly elevating an outfit, and this piece added a classic, polished finish without feeling overly formal.
My bangle stack made its usual appearance today. These bracelets have become true staples in my wardrobe and permanently live on my wrist. They were purchased from a private seller named Pink and seem to work with nearly every outfit I wear.
Of course, my Ultrahuman Ring was also part of today's accessories. It rarely leaves my finger except when charging. Today, I paired it with a silver zipper-style ring from Temu. Ring stacking is one of my favourite ways to add interest and personality to an outfit.
On the other hand, I wore my silver Oura Ring, another health and fitness tracker that has been part of my life since the company first started many years ago. To complement it, I stacked a gold zipper-style ring from Temu alongside it. Mixing metals and stacking rings adds dimension and keeps things feeling fashionable.
My watch of choice today was a beautiful rose-gold oyster-style watch featuring a black dial and brown ceramic bezel from DHGate. Watches are one of my favorite accessories, and this one tied in perfectly with the warm neutral palette of today's outfit.
For my handbag, I carried the softest, squishiest bag from Amazon. It honestly feels like carrying a marshmallow under your arm—cozy, comfortable, and surprisingly stylish all at once.
To complete the look, I added a pair of gold-framed sunglasses with black arms and brown lenses from Temu. They tied together all of the neutral shades throughout the outfit and provided the perfect finishing touch.
Overall, today's outfit proves that texture can be just as important as color when creating visual interest. The combination of corduroy, embroidery, pearls, glittery accessories, and soft textures created a look that felt cozy, elegant, and perfectly suited for this unexpectedly cold June day.
